Ingredients for Keto Egg Roll Wrappers
Here’s what you’ll need to whip up these delicious wrappers:
- Almond Flour: The base ingredient for most keto-friendly recipes.
- Psyllium Husk Powder: Adds elasticity and strength to the dough.
- Eggs: Essential for binding the ingredients and creating a pliable texture.
- Salt: Enhances the flavor.
- Coconut Oil or Ghee: For greasing the pan and adding richness.
Tip: Use fresh eggs and finely ground almond flour for a smoother dough.
Keto Egg Roll Wrappers – Important Notes
- Xanthan gum is the main ingredient and a must in this recipe, without this the dough will not elastic enough to roll and it will break apart while rolling.
- You can use a food processor or hand to mix and knead the dough very well until a dough forms.
- Make sure to roll the dough carefully, if they are too thin, they will break after adding dilling, if too thick it will not taste that good, so 1/8 inch thick or less is perfect
- You can also make the dough ahead of time, pack them in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate for upto 1-2 day.
Tips and Tricks for Perfect Keto Egg Roll Wrappers
- Consistency Is Key: If the dough feels too sticky, sprinkle a little more almond flour until it’s manageable.
- Roll Evenly: Aim for even thickness to ensure the wrappers cook uniformly.
- Avoid Overcooking: Cook just until pliable; overcooking can make the wrappers brittle.
- Storage Hack: Layer parchment paper between wrappers if you’re making them in advance.

Do you need to use the wrappers immediately after making them or can the wrappers be prepared a day ahead of when you want to use them? And they can be made ahead, what is the best way to store them? Thanks so much!
These look great! Do you think they could be made in the air fryer?
I made them and they taste really good, my family approved it to be added to our regular menu, it’s actually not hard to make, but follow the ingredients and measurements carefully, if the dough gets to dry, damp your fingers with water and knead the dough and it will soften, if is to sticky do the same but with the almond flour instead of water, I didn’t let it rest in the refrigerator, I use it right away, also I used a tortilla press instead of rolling the dough. Last thing, make doble the filling if you like the rolls fuller.
